CRUSH

Festive infusion ale with fresh apples, 6,0 % keg / 4,7 % bottle

Many of our beers are in Keskos
stores all over Finland and on
Systembolaget in Sweden.

.

Alongside with the growing popularity of infusion beers, apple has become a favorite fruit to flavor these beers. Apple has crossed the border from cider-house and is invading craft beer territory where pressed apples are blended in during the brewing process to create delicious pairings of malt and apple. The Åland Islands produce 70 % of Finland’s apples. Stallhagen is situated in the middle of the apple orchards and has a natural supply of fresh local fruit.
Stallhagen Crush is softly bubbling single hop ale brewed with freshly pressed local apple juice of crisp autumn apples. Crush is crystal clear and pale yellow with a tall white lasting head. The scent is fresh with subtle notes of apple. In its aroma and taste a pleasant tartness is rounded by the mellow maltiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly bubbly and vinous, dry finish.

The beer of the archipelago

Stallhagen is a microbrewery on Åland, in the middle of the archipelago between Sweden and Finland. As inhabitants of the archipelago, we are used to finding the means to provide for our own needs.

Beer, for example.
We really needed that.
