Stallhagen’s traditional Christmas beer, Julbock, is a deep red-brown bottom-fermented beer. Stallhagen Julbock is a strong beer with tones of caramel and nuts. The Black Malt gives it an acid burnt tone in the form of candi sugar. The hop bitterness is weak, rounded and well-balanced. The aroma is light and freshly mineral.
Stallhagen Julbock 4.7% was created for the whole spectrum of Christmas gastronomy. It is a real chameleon, matching everything from different types of herring to the cheese board, and cheeses of Cheddar type go particularly well with Julbock.
The label on the bottle was designed by Jonas Wilen and sports the traditional straw Yule goat.
